i have loooooong wanted to make a Dream Notebook. i have even bought one already but i’m too tamad to start it out. my passion for making one started when i have read quite a few articles about personalities who made a Dream Notebook and slowly turned those dreams into reality aside from that i have also watched The Secret, who said that for you to achieve your dreams you must envision it. i have pictured how my DN would look like but then again, katamaran always come on me, which (after typing the word) made me realize the biggest hindrance to me achieving those dreams, tardiness.

But it is never too late to start one now. and since i don’t have the materials yet why not turn my Dream Notebook into a Dream Blog.

of course, hindi mawawala ‘to! ito ang INAACHIEVE ko na ngaun! as in now naaa!
 

but i know, i can’t be that skinny, big boned ako eh! so sige, partida. basta i’m able to WEAR THIS IN PUBLIC! AYOS NA! GOOOO! :)))

before i go into places i first have to ACHIEVE this! this is my ticket to stardom! :D and mafail na ko sa lahat, but NOT ON THIS! I WILL BE ON TOP 5 ON B.E! (so help me GOD!)
 

achieving my ultimate dream above will lead me immediately into working in a Shipping Company.

at syempre, if i am to go to places, which i truly believe i’m destined to do, I HAVE TO HAVE THIS in my hands.
 

and as i travel around the world, i just want to come home in a comfy home in the middle of the CITY where i plan to work as a CPA. i WANT A DESIGN like this and right now, i want a SHABBY CHIC interior design.

personally, i only want these things for myself, materially speaking that is. but i have the BIGGEST DREAMS and PLANS for my FAMILY:

1. Reconstruct/ remodel our house.
2. Build a Grocery store for my MOM.
3. Buy an ala Sergio Pick up for my DAD.
4. Buy a Car each for me and my family.
5. Travel locally and abroad.

and once i have began to ACHIEVE all these, i would WANT to have him by my side.

and these to DO list starts NOW! :D

once upon a time in a bus en route to Ilocos, there was a fine, mestiso man

who found the love of his life sitting on a two-sitter bus. He fell head over heels on the first sight and so he sat next to her.

She was a tall, chinita lass

who was not aware that she has just caught the attention of the balikbayan man sitting beside her.

in the love bus they shared a good conversation where it led them to him getting her home address. and she, quite smitten by his friendliness, willingly gave her address.

With that simple conversation in the love bus, bloomed to a love so strong and pure that led to the altar on May 6, 1985. Theirs was not always smooth sailing. there were the long distance they have to endure on the first years of their married life, there were the wicked step sisters of his. but a pure, true love conquers all. and where there is patience and understanding that love will only flow deeper and stronger as time goes by.

and 27 years later, they are still happily married with three handsome and beautiful children who are on the road to fulfill their dreams and finally pay back their parents endless and supportive love. yes, theirs wasn’t perfect but through it all they remained to be faithful and true to what the Lord has bound them: in richer or in poorer, in sickness or in health, and ‘till death do they part.

BERLA and DADA,

You are the best parents we could ever have. Thank you for everything. For your never ending support in all our endeavours, for your unconditional love, for your unbeatable sacrifices and for being just there for us. Less assured that as we chase and live our dreams you will always be in our hearts, for in our every triumph in life you two remain to be our ultimate source of strength and our inspiration; and in those victories we hope to bring you love and honour.

i have blogged almost everything about myself and i’ve never really talked about the ONE WOMAN who made it possible for me to be blogging. but this time, i would allocate a whole week talking about her and expressing my love for her, in words.

meet my superBERL: my MOM

you may be wondering why i call her “BERL”. so here’s the back story.

when i was in 1st yr college, i was helping my friend Lorraine in her Engl101 report, it was this story about Berlaan and Josaphat (not sure of the spelling) i was so engrossed with the word Berlaan so i kept on mentioning it. suddenly, i was calling my mom Berlaan already (yups! i’m the “alyas” queen) then it evolved to Berla, then Berl for short cut. this endearment was such a hit that my Dad and tita (my Dad’s cousin) started to call her with that too and even my barkada call her “Ma’am Berl”. in the beginning, she was the only one called Berla. it’s my endearment to her until she started calling me back with that name too, so it has become our motherly endearment. sometimes we also call each other “Perl” or “Perlly” and again those are derived from Berla.

sige nga, hulaan niyo age niya?

well you may all be asking why i was suddenly sharing these special tidbits about me and my Mom. its because i’m making this as my 1 week tribute to her, for Mother’s Day. She’s been a Mom for 26years now and she was able to raise us so well. She’s so cool and a real best friend. i don’t need a best friend anymore, ‘coz i got it all with her. and if i’d be a Mom, i’d be like her. :)

so here’s my first entry in my superBERL tribute to my MAMA. how about you making one too?
